We are hiring a YouTube Manager for Sarah Refai.
The YouTube Manager for Sarah Refai is a strategic and creative leader who serves as the bridge between Sarah's business expertise and how it's translated into compelling long-form video content that educates and inspires Arabic-speaking entrepreneurs worldwide.
You're not just managing a YouTube channel. You're building the #1 Arabic educational platform for knowledge entrepreneurs and setting the content standard so high that others can only aspire to reach it. You'll own the strategy, storytelling, and systems behind uploads that scale Sarah's expertise to millions of Arabic-speaking entrepreneurs across the MENA region and beyond.
This isn't your typical content role. You're a multifaceted creative professional, fluent in ideation, production planning, on-set directing, compelling copywriting (Arabic & English), post-production oversight, and YouTube analytics.
Your passion for entrepreneurship and knowledge business matches your expertise in dominating YouTube's educational landscape. You're excited about crafting standout content that transforms how Arabic-speaking entrepreneurs approach building and scaling their expertise-based businesses.
You'll lead the packaging and conceptual direction of our videos, distill Sarah's key business insights into engaging content, and ensure continuous improvement through rigorous analysis and feedback loops. You'll also maintain strategic alignment with key business initiatives like course launches, challenges, and brand positioning goals.
You'll work hand-in-hand with Sarah and our marketing team to shape channel strategy, brand identity, content production, and distribution across Arabic and English-speaking markets.

Your Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership and YouTube Infrastructure
Manage video editors, thumbnail designers, and content production team
Maintain key YouTube metrics (retention rates, view velocity, subscriber growth, engagement) and present weekly insights to Sarah and the leadership team
Develop scalable, documented systems for Arabic/English content scripting, packaging, and production workflows
Grow and develop direct reports and members of the YouTube production team
Explore and implement AI tools to accelerate pre- and post-production workflows, including Arabic language content optimization
Coordinate with marketing, social media teams, and external partners for cross-platform distribution and promotion
2. YouTube Strategy and Channel Architecture
Define and execute YouTube channel growth strategy with direct input from Sarah
Balance evergreen knowledge business content with timely reactions to market trends and industry developments
Ensure every video reinforces Sarah's authority as the leading Arabic knowledge business expert while maintaining authentic, relatable communication
Lead visual identity development and run consistent A/B testing for thumbnails, titles, and packaging
Develop content strategies that resonate with both Arabic and English-speaking audiences
Monitor and analyze competitor channels and industry trends in the knowledge business space
3. Pre-Production
Lead weekly ideation sessions and conduct market research for content opportunities
Develop and maintain content calendar with 4-6 week buffer of approved topics, outlines, and packaging concepts
Create detailed briefs for thumbnail designers and video editors
Collaborate with Sarah on content angles that align with business objectives and audience needs
Research and prepare talking points, statistics, and case studies for video content
4. Production
Draft detailed run-of-show documents for filming sessions
Facilitate on-camera shoots - prompting follow-up questions, managing pacing, and capturing production notes
Collaborate with videography team on visual setups, props, and creative elements
Manage interactive format productions (Q&A sessions, live challenges, guest interviews)
Ensure brand consistency and quality standards across all video content
Coordinate guest appearances and collaborative content opportunities
5. Post-Production
Own post-production timelines and upload calendar management
Conduct detailed retention analysis to continuously improve audience engagement
Provide comprehensive editing notes and final approval for all uploads
Create and maintain brand guidelines, SOPs, and quality standards for seamless production
Optimize video SEO, descriptions, and end screens for maximum discoverability
Manage YouTube community engagement and comment moderation
Key Results & Metrics:
Growth Metrics: Accelerated subscriber growth and improved subscriber-to-view ratios
Performance: 70%+ of videos outperform channel baselines on impressions and engagement
Retention: Improved average view duration and 24/48-hour velocity curves
Consistency: Maintain 2-3 high-quality uploads per week while exceeding brand standards
Innovation: Regular documentation and implementation of content experiments and optimization tests
Efficiency: Improved team leverage through AI tools and streamlined production processes
Brand Alignment: Sarah's satisfaction with content quality, brand representation, and channel growth
Essential Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on YouTube channel management experience, preferably for educational/business content creators
Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (written and verbal)
Deep understanding of YouTube ecosystem - algorithm, thumbnails, titles, retention editing, and growth strategies
Strong analytical skills with experience in YouTube Analytics, data interpretation, and performance optimization
Excellent project management abilities with experience in tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com
Proficiency with video review tools (Frame.io, Wipster) and Google Workspace
Understanding of the MENA market and Arabic-speaking entrepreneur landscape
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with knowledge business, online education, or coaching industry content
Basic knowledge of video editing and graphic design principles
Experience with AI tools for content creation and optimization
Background in marketing, communications, or media production
Previous experience working with high-profile content creators or personal brands
